Hello, dear ones!
This section of the website is to keep our loved ones in touch with the goings-on inside of the Hall Hartley household.
Right now, we are all suffering through a bout of the spring flu of some sort. Gracie is coming through finally, but Steve may be getting the worst of it. The latest news is that, yes, his eardrum did rupture.

Spring Break was a little slow compared to years past. There were no trips to Paris, New Jersey, or California. We stayed in Indy, and Gracie celebrated her birthday at home for the first time since she was two. Yes, the baby really is 7 now. We can't believe it either. She is really enjoying first grade, and both girls learned to knit this winter. They are still reading all of the time, at least during the time that they don't have needles and string in hand.

Lucy has even taught several of her girlfriends to knit, and we host the International Knit Circle at our place on Friday nights. We hope that you will drop by some time, either for a quick lesson, or just to admire that which their hands hath wrought.
Steve is still working like crazy through the transition into the Principal Financial Group. The disappointment of the "end" of Molloy has taken its toll, but we are optimistic about the future, and change has a way of putting things into perspective. We have decided to really concentrate on the website and Luscious Gracious Studio.
Katie's health continues to fluctuate, but we are happy to report a recent bit of a remission, and things around the house have been very busy. There are always dozens of projects and plans for a thousand more. She tries to squeeze in as much as she can during these good periods, because it's just the nature of the disease to rear its ugly head at the most inopportune moments.
We hope that you enjoy the website. There are beautiful photographs, matted and signed by Steve. You can also find specialty gifts hand-knit by the Hall Hartley girls, perfect for baby showers, birthdays, and other special occasions. Don't forget to stock up on Steve's ever-popular notecards. Everyone needs stationery, and if you can bear to part with them, they make great last-minute gifts. Each time you need a present for someone and you buy it from us, we all win. You get the nicest things ever, and we can afford to keep this enterprise going. This business is something that we always knew that we would do, and recent events have pushed us into it sooner rather than later. Make sure to visit the site often, as it changes every day. And don't forget yourself while shopping; we are willing to fill special orders for our friends and family.
Love to you all, and we hope that you will come to see us soon, but you may want to wait a week or so until the germs are all gone...
