Personalized Wristbands for Sale
I Love
Wristbands! They are my favorite projects and I have dozens. They are the perfect
in-between knitting, just the thing to give me a break from the intricate
creations I also love. Hand-made wristbands are like mittens, cute and perfect,
without the annoying bulk. Please let me
make some for you, my wrists are already warm enough.
1). Choose a size. Small is 5-6” around, and fits children and
small women. You can fit up to 7
characters on a size Small.
Medium
is 7” around, and fits most women (if in doubt, remember that wool is stretchy,
and almost everyone can wear a medium).
You can fit up to 8 characters on a size Medium.
Large
is 8-9” around, and fits most men. You
can fit up to 10 characters on a size Large.
2). Choose your colors. Choose a background (or main) color, and a
contrasting color for the writing or design.
Think crayon box, and go for it. If
you are super-particular, I can mail you snippets of the colors that I think you
mean, and you can get back to me. I
will begin as soon as you give your go-ahead.
Otherwise, I assume that we all know what black and scarlet are.
3). Choose your identity. Select a name, nickname, initials, business
name, blog name, catchphrase, or word that sounds good to you. Pair up “FRIENDS” with “FOREVER”, “KNIT” and “PURL”,
or “BEST” and “TEACHER” (husband, knitter, kisser, etc.). Some great single bands are “BLOGGER”, “K2TOG”,
“#1 GRANNY”, “EASY”, “CUCKOO”, or “MATH NERD”.
4). Choose a design instead of lettering. Some of my original designs include turtles,
crabs, and a random “lice” pattern. I
also love to knit traditional snowflakes and other Scandinavian patterns (with
three colors), hearts, and fish. Even
stripes, with up to 5 colors, would be nice.
If you just like the look of a cuff, but don’t want any extra
ornamentation, I will make solid-colored bands for a little less money. Have an idea?

5). Identity crisis? Pick a ready-made band from the list below,

6). Choose your price! Well, kind of… Custom-Made - Single for $20, Pair for $35
(need not match). Stripes, designs, or
ready-made - Single for $20, Pair for $35.
No Fuss solid color - Single for $15, Pair for $25.
7). Some notes.
When you order a pair; the size, color, wording, design….none of that
has to match! Use the opportunity to buy
one for yourself, and another for your best knitting buddy. As for turn-around time, I expect to have
your wristbands in the mail to you within a week of your order. If I cannot do this, I will e-mail you and
give you the chance to cancel your order before I begin. These bands are a great gift, and can be
mailed easily inside of a birthday card.
They are a fabulous fashion accessory, and look terrific on anyone. My children give them as gifts to everyone,
as do I, and we have found that no matter the age, people love to have
something that is personalized and hand-made.
Lulu gave a pair to each member of her book club, one with the girl’s
name, and the other with the club’s motto.
I will add my own designs to the list as I think of them, and will even
try to incorporate your designs into a band.

100% wool, and use the softest available.
If someone is allergic, please let me know, and I will do my best to
make a cotton replacement. Cotton is not
as stretchy, and the color choices are rather limited, but I will happily do
what I can. That said, try a wool band,
and send it back if you itch!
